Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. This position involves providing exceptional maternity care to patients, supporting approximately 2,600 births annually while maintaining a commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to support patient needs and preferences.
• Monitor and assess the health and progress of mothers and newborns throughout the delivery process.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing is required.
• Certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) are mandatory.
• Experience with Epic software is required.
• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus.
• Applicants must have been separated from the organization for at least 6 months to be considered for this position.

Schedule

This position involves a 12-hour rotating schedule with every other weekend availability required.
