Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team. This position entails providing comprehensive care to patients during labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both mothers and infants.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Monitor patients’ health status and provide updates to the medical team.
• Assist with the childbirth process, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and post-delivery care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.

Position Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Must be proficient with EPIC electronic health records.
• Ability to work weekends and adhere to block schedules, as required.
• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1 to 1:2.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 6 days of work per week, including weekends, with a block schedule format.
