Occupational Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist with experience in inpatient settings and skilled nursing facilities (SNF) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Minnesota State license or be willing to obtain one, along with an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat a variety of adult patient diagnoses in an acute hospital setting.
• Manage diagnoses including general deconditioning, total joint replacements, postoperative orthopedic care, some neurological conditions, and general medical-surgical needs.
• Provide coverage support for skilled therapy services within SNF facilities.
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records and other relevant systems for documentation and reporting.
• Float to various locations as necessary to meet job demands.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in an acute care setting; one year of experience within the last three years is preferred.
• MN Occupational Therapy Licensure required; candidates must obtain licensure if not currently licensed.
• Active BLS certification from AHA is mandatory.

Work Schedule

This position typically operates Monday through Friday, during day shifts. There is no call or weekend work required.

Training and Orientation

New hires will receive a computer-based orientation for the organization, as well as one-on-one training for documentation systems and departmental orientation.

Additional Information

• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility.
• Dress code includes scrub colors of polo (Ceil Blue, Khaki, Gray, Chocolate Brown) or business casual attire.
