Pediatric Physical Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team for an assignment of 13 or 26 weeks, starting as soon as possible. This role offers flexible scheduling options, allowing for a 4×10 or 5×8 workweek based on traveler preference.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to pediatric patients.
• Assess and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Conduct therapy sessions and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families regarding rehabilitation processes and home exercises.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience required; first-timers may be accepted with 2 years of experience.
• Must hold a current BLS certification.
• Valid Physical Therapy license in Alaska is required (pending licenses accepted if obtained prior to offer).
• Experience in acute care is preferred.
• Availability to work some weekends (approximately 1-2 shifts per month).

Additional Information

• This is a full-time position with day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Free parking is provided at the facility.
• Charting is conducted using the Epic system.
