Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high-quality patient care and possess the necessary skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and modify patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and care plans.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in the medical record.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state nursing license in hand.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Shift Information

• Night shift: 3 shifts per week, each 12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
