This position requires availability from 11:15 PM to 7:15 AM, Monday through Friday.

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality care to surgical patients in the operating room setting. This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients.
• Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary instruments and equipment are available.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes or complications during surgery.
• Assist the surgical team with procedures and provide support as needed.
• Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
• Document patient care and progress in compliance with health care regulations.
• Educate patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of surgical procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
