CNA / Nurse Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a Memory Care setting. This position involves providing high-quality care to residents while fostering a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in a long-term care setting and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Document care provided and report any concerns to the nursing team.

Shift Information

This position requires working 8-hour evening shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, including every other weekend and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience as a CNA.
• BLS certification required (AHA only).
• Graduate of a CNA training program required.
• Must be listed on the Wisconsin CNA registry.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment preferred.
• No at-fault cancellations in work history.
