Electrophysiology Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an electrophysiology lab, with additional expertise in catheterization and interventional radiology preferred. This position involves working across multiple locations within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrophysiology procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in emergency procedures and provide support during cardiac events.
• Assist in patient education and preparation prior to procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment used in electrophysiology testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of EP lab experience required.
• Experience in catheterization (Cath) and interventional radiology (IR) preferred.
• Registered Cardiac Vascular Technologist (RCVT) certification preferred.
• Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) are required.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification preferred.

Work Schedule

This position will require a commitment to on-call duties and may involve floating between multiple locations within a 20-mile radius.

Additional Requirements

• All requested time off (RTO) must be included in the initial submission.
• Candidates must be smoke-free and provide a negative drug screen that includes nicotine testing.
• Timely completion of required modules and training upon confirmation of assignment is critical.
