Pediatric OR Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric OR Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to pediatric patients in the operating room setting. This position requires exceptional clinical skills and a passion for pediatric healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment.
• Administer medications and treatments per established protocols and standards.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to changes in their condition promptly.
• Educate families on pre-operative and post-operative care procedures.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.

Shift Information

This position offers a mix of shifts, including:

• Five 8-hour shifts during the day (07:00 – 15:30)
• Four 10-hour shifts
• Cover two weekend day shifts from 07:00 – 19:00
• Cover two weeknight shifts from 19:00 – 23:00

Qualifications

• Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Previous experience in a pediatric operating room setting is preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal to no requested time off (RTO), no more than 3 days.
