EP Lab Technologist

Job Overview

This role focuses on providing medical and clinical support services to patients in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab. As an EP Lab Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality patient care by assisting in electrophysiology procedures. You will collaborate with other members of the care team and promote the policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the Cardiac Arrhythmia Center. This position requires a willingness to learn and grow in the rapidly evolving field of electrophysiology.

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrophysiology procedures and provide direct support to patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote high-quality patient care.
• Maintain knowledge of and adhere to policies, procedures, and objectives of the Cardiac Arrhythmia Center.
• Possibly float to other cardiac procedural areas as needed.
• Work under moderate supervision while solving routine problems and communicating necessary information.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Electrophysiology lab setting.
• Preferred certification: Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), but not required.
• Must hold a BLS certification.
• Ability to work both 5 days a week (8-hour shifts) or 4 days a week (10-hour shifts).

Additional Information

This position offers guaranteed hours of 40 hours per week and may require floating to different procedural areas as necessary. Candidates with at least 2 years of experience as an EP technician will be prioritized, though applicants with over 1 year of experience may also be considered.
