Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Position Overview

This role is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive perinatal care and will work a 12-hour night shift, with a rotation of every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct prenatal evaluations of mothers and fetuses.
• Provide intrapartum care for labor and delivery.
• Assist in intraoperative and recovery care during operative deliveries.
• Deliver postpartum and maternal/newborn care, including couplet care for well babies.
• Offer specialized care for premature newborns and those requiring higher levels of care.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in the operating room is preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Current NRP certification required.
• Must have received the flu vaccine during onboarding; declinations are not accepted.

Additional Information

Biweekly orientation is available for new hires. Candidates must have been separated from previous employment within the organization for at least 6 months to be considered. Local candidates are welcome to apply.
