Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in providing exceptional home health care for adult patients. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives while working in a flexible and supportive environment.

Position Details

• Start Date: As indicated in the job description
• Shift: 5×8, Monday to Friday
• Types of Cases: Adult Health Care, with a focus on patient-centered therapy
• Required Visits: 6 visits per day
• Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year
• First-Time Applicants: Accepted
• Weekend Requirements: N/A
• National Certifications Required: Valid Maryland Physical Therapist State License
• BLS Certification: Required
• On-Call Requirements: N/A
• Block Scheduling: Accommodates block schedule, Monday to Friday
• Local Applicants: Accepted within specified radius
• RTO Restrictions: 1 request allowed
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for:

• Assessing patient needs and developing individualized treatment plans
• Implementing effective therapeutic interventions to enhance patient mobility and physical performance
• Monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans
• Educating patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and care techniques
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care

Qualifications

• Current Maryland Physical Therapist State License
• BLS Certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
