Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Ortho/Joint

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Orthopedics/Joint Replacement to join our team. This position is ideal for nurses with a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and orthopedic care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Orthopedic Joint Replacement Center.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on managing orthopedic conditions and post-surgical care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Shift and Scheduling:

• Available shifts: 3×12 or 4×12 Days (07:00 – 19:30).
• Position requires every other weekend work and holiday shifts as scheduled.
• Floating within the specialty and to sister facilities is required as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg experience required; strong orthopedic/joint experience is preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, CPI, and NIH certifications preferred.

Patient Care:

Patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6, providing a challenging yet rewarding environment catering primarily to adult and geriatric patient populations.
