Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our medical-surgical unit. This position involves caring for patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standard of patient care.

Shift Details

• Work Schedule: 4×12-hour shifts
• Shift Hours: 07:00 – 19:00

Staffing Ratios

The nurse-to-patient ratio will be 1:6-7, promoting optimal patient care and effective monitoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers are encouraged to apply
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS
  • NIHSS
  • ACLS preferred
• Must have proficiency in administering cardiac drips, including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing with capability to manage telemetry overflow challenges is necessary

Special Requirements

Candidates must be able to demonstrate expertise in handling a 1:6 or 1:7 patient ratio and be proficient in managing intravenous drips as required for patient care.

Uniform

Scrubs should be navy blue.

Note

• Pending licenses will be considered
• Previous permanent staff are ineligible for travel assignments for 10 years
• A 90-mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be accepted
