Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in a Medical Surgical unit with overflow support in telemetry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in administering various cardiac drips, including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone, while maintaining optimal patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit.
• Manage and administer cardiac drips as required.
• Maintain a safe and effective patient care environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Current certifications in BLS and NIHSS are required; ACLS certification is preferred.
• Candidates must be proficient in managing drips.
• Must comply with a 90-mile radius rule; local candidates are not accepted.
• Pending nursing licenses will be considered.
• Previous permanent staff members are ineligible for travel positions for 10 years.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a full-time schedule of 4×12-hour shifts, from 0700 to 1930, with block scheduling potentially accommodated.

Uniform

Scrubs must be navy blue.
