Physical Therapist (PT) Outpatient

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team, focusing primarily on outpatient therapy with some inpatient responsibilities, including pediatric care. This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates or physical therapists with less than one year of experience who have completed strong outpatient or inpatient clinical rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in an outpatient setting.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.

Qualifications

• Current New Mexico Physical Therapy license (pending submission accepted).
• Recent graduates or PTs with less than one year of experience are welcome to apply.
• Experience in outpatient or inpatient settings during clinical rotations is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

This position offers flexible scheduling options, including 4×10 hour shifts or 5×8 hour shifts, during daytime hours.
