Unit Details

This unit offers a comprehensive range of patient care, catering to diagnoses including but not limited to:

• Hypertension (HTN)
• Diabetes
• Congestive Heart Failure
• End Stage Renal Disease
• Coronary Artery Disease
• Abdominal Pain
• STEMI/NSTEMI
• Pulmonary Embolism
• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
• Behavioral Health

Scheduling and Availability

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Call Duty: None required
• Floating: As needed within facility and scope of practice

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• First time travelers are welcome to apply

AYA Offer Details

Once the candidate has signed, the manager will have 48 hours to review the profile and confirmation to determine the fit for the unit, schedule, and expertise. The offer is contingent upon clinical pass within the available Return to Office (RTO) guidelines and compliance with specific facility requirements.

Return to Office (RTO) Policy

Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed.

Holiday Requirements

Travelers are expected to work during major holidays as follows:

• If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
• If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both.
• If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Major holidays include:

• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
• New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day

Compliance Requirements

Full compliance is required to start on time. Failure to meet compliance deadlines may result in a two-week delay due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Local Candidates

Local candidates are accepted and will receive the same rate as travelers.

Please note that the number of non-billable orientation hours will be determined by the length of the contract.
