Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are looking for a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide important therapeutic services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This role is pivotal in assisting patients in developing and restoring their functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in educating patients and their families regarding therapy processes and goals.
• Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
