Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a 12-hour night shift position from 1900 to 0730. The selected candidate will engage in weekend and holiday rotations based on operational needs.
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical/telemetry unit. Key duties include:
- Assessing and monitoring patient health status.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educating patients and families regarding health issues and care plans.
- Documenting patient care accurately in electronic health records (Epic).
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA is required.
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system is mandatory.
- Candidates must pass a telemetry test prior to starting position.
