Registered Occupational Therapist

Job Description

The Registered Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing therapeutic interventions to individuals with various needs to enhance their ability to perform daily activities. The role involves working with clients to develop individualized treatment plans, implementing therapy sessions, and evaluating progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to determine clients’ needs and goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Facilitate therapeutic interventions to improve clients’ functional abilities.
• Monitor and document clients’ progress throughout therapy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize client care.
• Provide education to clients and their families regarding treatment plans and best practices.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist License.
• NBCOT Certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Required background check clearance.
• Driver’s License with a current picture identification.
• Completion of skills checklist from the agency.
• Records of nursing-related competencies or exams.
• Documentation of Tuberculosis test results.
• Hepatitis vaccination records.
• Influenza vaccination or declination form.
• Copy of agency’s Certificate of Liability Insurance.
• Negative drug test results.
• Completion of an Attestation Form.

Work Schedule

This position is full-time, with typical hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Travel may be required between multiple locations within the region.
