Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our inpatient oncology unit. This role involves providing comprehensive care to patients with cancer and blood disorders in a telemetry setting.

Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Scheduling: Night shifts (3×12 hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Floating Requirement: Yes

Required Certifications

• Massachusetts nursing license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Basic Life Support (BCLS)

Preferred Certifications

• Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC)
• Oncology Certification (OCN)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Ability to administer chemotherapy and start IVs
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Experience with telemetry and patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) pumps, blood warmers, bladder scans, and Baxter pumps
• Experience caring for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, solid tumors, and those enrolled in clinical trials
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
