NICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled NICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves working on weekends, with a schedule of Saturday, Sunday, and one additional weekday shift.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level IV/Surgical NICU.
• Monitor and assess newborns with complex diagnoses, including CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, pulmonary hypertension, and pre/peri/post-operative care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Be open to floating to other units as needed.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding care plans and conditions.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in a Level IV/Surgical NICU setting is required.
• PALS certification is required; NRP certification is preferred.
• Willingness to work at least one holiday during the contract period.
• Must be nicotine-free and pass a drug screening without exceptions.
• Flu vaccination is mandatory; religious and/or medical exemptions will not be accepted.
