Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and possess the necessary skills to effectively manage the needs of residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Perform bedside shift reporting (BSSR) to communicate essential information about patient care.
• Utilize AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) in all interactions with patients and families to enhance communication.
• Conduct hourly rounding to ensure resident needs are met promptly.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members, including nursing assistants and medication technicians, to deliver integrated care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, medication administration, and any changes in resident conditions.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care is required.

Shift Details

This position requires a commitment to 12-hour shifts from 10:30 to 23:00, with every other weekend rotation and the possibility of working on holidays.
