Mammography Technologist

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to perform standard mammography using a 3D machine. The ideal candidate will also possess experience in standard X-ray procedures. Additional qualifications such as DEXA are considered a bonus but are not required for hiring.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform 3D mammography and standard X-ray examinations.
• Ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety during all procedures.
• Maintain equipment and assist in quality control protocols.
• Provide compassionate care and communicate effectively with patients.

Schedule

This position requires availability for both 10-hour and 8-hour shifts. Specific scheduling can be discussed during the interview process. The facility operates on weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. There is no requirement for call duties or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in standard mammography on a 3D machine.
• Standard X-ray experience is required.
• DEXA experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Candidates must have been separated from previous employment for at least 6 months and must be in good standing to be considered.
