Sterile Processing Supervisor Lead

Role Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily operations of the sterile processing department.
• Ensure compliance with all sterilization standards and protocols.
• Supervise staff, including training and development of team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
• Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to maintain high standards of patient care.
• Assist with inventory management, ensuring necessary supplies are available at all times.
• Participate in performance evaluations and address staff performance issues as necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience in sterile processing or a related field.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Understanding of sterile processing regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Certification in sterile processing preferred.
