Certified Surgical Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team. This position requires performing in various surgical settings, with a focus on orthopedic, gynecological, robotic, urological, general, ENT, and orthopedic spine surgeries. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in total joint procedures and orthopedic surgical assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in elective and emergent surgeries across multiple specialties.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care and smooth operating room flow.
• Manage surgical instruments and equipment effectively.
• Monitor and assist with patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist, with a strong emphasis on orthopedic and total joint procedures.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Prior travel experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player, staying focused and proactive in fast-paced environments.

Additional Information

This position may require participation in on-call schedules. Hospital-provided scrubs are included. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Epic, is beneficial.
