Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide essential therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). This position involves assisting patients in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving their treatment goals, all while adhering to state and federal regulations and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as specified in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
• Assist in patient education regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Follow safety, infection control, and compliance standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active State PTA license or the ability to obtain one.
• Capacity to follow established treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams effectively.
