MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in MRI technology, particularly with Siemens equipment, and be experienced in handling various patient needs within a professional healthcare environment.

Contract Details

• Contract Length: 14 weeks
• Shift Schedule: 4×10 Nights (21:00-07:30) from Monday to Thursday, with potential flexibility for a 5×8 schedule (23:00-07:30) from Monday to Friday
• Weekends: Required every third weekend
• Holidays: Required as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Perform various MRI scans including neuro, body, and musculoskeletal studies.
• Competently manage scanning for ventilated patients using IV extensions.
• Maintain high standards of safety in MRI environments, ensuring compliance with MRI safety protocols and zone regulations.
• Provide exceptional patient care, particularly for vented and monitored patients in a challenging environment.
• Be prepared to float within specialties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Prior experience with Siemens Aera and Sola 1.5 T magnets is required.
• Must hold an ARRT-R certification and a valid state license.
• BLS certification is required.
