Cath Technologist

Job Description

This position requires day shifts and involves being on call one weekday each week and one weekend per month. The ideal candidate must possess ARRT certification, with RCIS being preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the catheterization room and ensure patient readiness using sterile technique.
• Operate imaging equipment efficiently and assist in obtaining necessary images during procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs throughout various interventional procedures.
• Participate in procedures including coronary interventions, structural heart procedures, chronic total occlusions (CTO), mechanical circulatory support (MCS), and vascular assessments.

Qualifications

• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Valid ARRT certification; RCIS certification is preferred.
• Prior catheterization lab experience is required.
