Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional care to patients on a Med-Surg unit during the night shift.

Shift Information

• Night Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
• Patient-to-Nurse Ratio: 1:5
• Total Beds on Unit: 13

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population on the Med-Surg unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient care plans.
• Assist in the development and implementation of nursing care plans based on patient assessments.
• Provide education and support to patients and families to ensure understanding of care processes and health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical nursing role.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
