Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting. This role involves the preparation, administration, and documentation of prescribed medications, as well as performing clinical tasks such as changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and document patient responses.
• Change dressings and perform catheter insertions.
• Start IVs and adjust specialized medical equipment as required.
• Monitor patient vital signs and interpret recorded measurements.
• Report any adverse reactions to medications promptly.

Schedule Details

• 12-hour night shifts with a guaranteed 36-hour work week.
• Mandatory weekend shifts: 6 shifts per 6-week scheduling period.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Recent travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Must possess a valid Oklahoma state nursing license or a compact license.
• Current certifications in BLS (AHA) and NIH.
