CVOR Tech

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced CVOR Tech to join our surgical services team. This role involves providing support in the operating room, specifically for cardiovascular cases.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and maintaining the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical staff to facilitate efficient case flow.
• Provide expertise in scrub functions during surgical procedures.
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols and ensure a sterile environment.
• Participate in the preparation and management of surgical instruments and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CVOR Tech.
• Current national certification (NBSTSA or TS-C) is required; NCCT will not be accepted.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in scrub functions for cardiovascular procedures preferred.

Shift Details:

• Days, 4×10-hour shifts (06:00 – 16:30).
• Call requirement: 2-3 calls per week with at least 1 weekend per month (24 hours on Saturday and Sunday).
• Off days will vary during the week.

Additional Requirements:

• No use of tobacco or nicotine products is permitted; candidates will undergo testing for nicotine and cotinine.
• Must be willing to accommodate scheduled shifts as required by the facility.
