Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

The Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for a variety of tasks in the pharmacy, including the routine filling and refilling of medication and supply orders, packaging, clerical work, and other standardized responsibilities. This role operates under established organizational and departmental policies and procedures and reports directly to the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician Registration is required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) is preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year of experience as a hospital pharmacy technician is preferred.

Shifts

This position requires mixed day, evening, and weekend shifts.
