Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional therapy services in adherence to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines. This role is pivotal in evaluating patients, developing treatment and discharge plans, and implementing therapy aimed at enhancing independence in daily living skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders or referrals.
• Develop and regularly update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
• Document all services accurately and in a timely manner.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with practice acts and facility policies.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams and family members.
• Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD).
• Possession of an active state Occupational Therapy license (or the ability to obtain one).
• Strong clinical skills complemented by excellent documentation and communication abilities.
