MRI Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. This position is focused on the provision of high-quality MRI scans predominantly for pediatric patients, including neonates, stroke, and trauma patients. Experience with both GE and Siemens MRI equipment at 1.5T and 3T is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on adult and pediatric patients across various age groups, ensuring adherence to safety and quality procedures.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare staff to communicate patient needs and results effectively.
• Maintain equipment functionality and cleanliness, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
• Follow established protocols for patient care and imaging practices.

Qualifications

• Experience as an MRI Technologist, specifically in pediatric imaging.
• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist through the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). Candidates with ARMRIT certification will not be considered.
• Previous experience in a children’s healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong competency in performing MRI scans for diverse patient populations, including neonates and pediatric patients.

Schedule

This position requires availability for night shifts, working from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM, four days a week, without on-call requirements.
