Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess acute care experience and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Schedule

• Shift: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (08:00 – 16:30)
• Every 4th weekend required

Responsibilities

The COTA will be responsible for delivering general acute care, including:

• Medical and surgical support
• Orthopedic care
• Neurological practices
• Neurosurgery assistance
• Cardiac care
• Critical care management
• Support within an Acute Rehab Facility, focusing on an average length of stay of 2 weeks
• Working with a high percentage of stroke patients

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
• BLS certification
• Current Minnesota license
• Travelers must have a primary residence at least 25 miles away from the facility
