Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress promptly and accurately.
• Assist with education for both patients and their families.
• Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
