Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence while adhering to state and federal regulations and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions according to the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Accurately and timely document patient progress.
• Assist with patient and family education regarding therapy practices and goals.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
