Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary

The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines. The primary focus will be on assisting patients in restoring mobility, improving functionality, and achieving their treatment goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions according to the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately.
• Assist in educating patients about their treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain adherence to safety, infection control, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state Physical Therapist Assistant license or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
