Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient

Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our outpatient therapy and rehabilitation team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and a variety of diagnoses.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday – Thursday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• No floating or weekend shifts required.

Clinic Overview

Our clinic primarily focuses on orthopedic care, although we also cater to a range of specialty areas including pediatrics, pelvic health, lymphedema, and neurological/vestibular care. Experience in these specialties is not mandatory, but it would contribute positively to our team and enhance our service offerings. We provide specialized services such as dry needling and pelvic health therapy.

Patient Care

• Typical Daily Patient Load: 8-12 patients per 8-hour day.
• Productivity Standards: 3.00 units per hour.

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan State License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience working with geriatrics, orthopedics, and sports medicine is required.
• Experience is open to new graduates.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in vestibular rehabilitation is preferred.

Work Environment

This position is based within a hospital-affiliated outpatient clinic, primarily serving patients with orthopedic conditions ranging from total joint replacements to sports-related injuries. Additional patient conditions seen include vestibular disorders, neurological issues, lymphedema, and others.

• Charting System: Experience with Epic is preferred.
