Emergency Department Staff Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit Description

Seeking an Emergency Department Staff Registered Nurse (RN) traveler for a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position offers both 36 or 48-hour work options, with scheduling options including 3×12 or 4×12 shifts. Candidates can choose between day/night rotation or straight night shifts. Orientation dates are available on 11/2 or 11/16.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, ensuring a high standard of clinical practices.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices and emergency procedures.
• Participate in educational opportunities and training programs as required.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in the emergency department or related critical care setting preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and departmental demands.
