Oncology Clinic Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Oncology Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting, working closely with physicians and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients undergoing treatment in an outpatient oncology clinic.
• Assist physicians in evaluating and managing patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to any changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and self-care post-treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with established practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Patient Care Ratios

The clinic operates with an outpatient model where physicians see between 15 to 25 patients per day.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required.
• Certification in Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) is preferred; assistance in obtaining certification can be provided after starting.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are also accepted.

Additional Information

No weekend requirements or on-call duties are associated with this position. There are no restrictions on time off during the assignment.
