Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team, providing exceptional care to our patients. The RN will contribute to the management and treatment of patients diagnosed with various conditions, including Cancer, Hematology, Endocrine disorders, and more.

Job Description

• Unit: Oncology, Hematology, Nephrology, Endocrine, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, General Medicine
• Common Diagnoses: Cancer diagnoses, Hematology, End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), Diabetes, Gastrointestinal issues, Abdominal Pain, Dermatological conditions
• Patient Demographics: Adults, ages 18 and above
• Number of Beds: 56 beds

Shift Details

• Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Block scheduling is not guaranteed)
• Floating Required: Yes
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical / Oncology nursing
• Travel experience is essential
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Chemotherapy certification
• Active New York RN license and verification through the NURSYS report
• Driver’s license with a matching address

Skills & Equipment

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) – EPIC experience preferred
• Familiarity with specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, and chest tubes
