Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our dynamic inpatient rehabilitation team. This position is ideal for motivated individuals who are passionate about patient care and eager to make a difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Perform phlebotomy and IV starts on patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Manage gastric tube feeds and other feeding methods as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in an inpatient rehab, hospital, or similar setting.
• BLS certification is required; NIH certification is preferred but can be obtained onsite.
• Current CPR certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred for those in charge nurse roles.
• Experience with phlebotomy, IV certification, and gastric tube feeds is necessary.

Work Schedule

The position requires night shifts, specifically working three 12-hour shifts each week. Weekend duty is required every other weekend.
