Physical Therapist Assistant

Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant will provide essential therapy services in compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines. The primary objective is to assist patients in restoring mobility, enhancing function, and achieving their treatment goals.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as directed in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and response to treatment in a timely manner.
• Assist in patient education and the development of home exercise programs.
• Communicate updates on patient status to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control measures, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Ability to effectively follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
