Float Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

This position is for a Float Registered Nurse who will work primarily in a 12-hour night shift capacity. The role requires the ability to adapt to various patient care environments and ensure the provision of high-quality nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in various departments.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting progress and care changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Utilize electronic health record systems effectively to manage patient data.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.
• Adhere to all safety and quality protocols within the healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with a focus on travel nursing.
• Proficient in using the Epic electronic health record system.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to float to various departments as needed.
• Must be able to commit to an 8-week assignment starting on 12/07.
• No more than three days of requested time off will be accepted, and holiday time off is not permitted.
