Medical ICU Float Position

We are seeking experienced healthcare professionals for a Medical ICU Float position. This role requires a strong background in critical care settings and the ability to adapt to various environments within the unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Perform technical and clinical procedures in accordance with established standards.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding care and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in a medical ICU or Level 1 trauma facility.
• Current Massachusetts nursing license.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Additional Information

This position is an 8-week assignment, starting on February 1st, with rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights). Orientation occurs weekly, every Monday, except for holidays. Please be aware that parking may incur daily costs.

Note: RTO (Requested Time Off) policies are strict; no more than three days are permissible, and holiday-related requests will not be accepted. All RTO requests must be made in advance at the time of submission.
