Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric team. This role requires expertise in providing high-quality care to children with complex medical needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tracheostomy, ventilator management, and central line care.

Shift Details

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts)
• MUST work at least every other holiday

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Pediatrics
• Current Ohio nursing license or compact state license
• BLS and PALS certification from AHA or American Red Cross

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Orientation and Training

Upon onboarding, candidates will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a safeMedicate assessment. An acceptable score on both assessments is required to continue in the position.

Technology Use

Hours worked will be submitted through Qualivis – Lotus.
