Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Step Down specialty. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring high-quality patient care in a Step Down unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Step Down unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and medical history.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Previous experience in a Step Down or similar nursing role is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Work Schedule

• Night shift: 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:00).
• Every other weekend shifts required.

Additional Information

This position involves a ratio of 5 patients to 1 nurse, providing an environment conducive to effective patient care. This role does not have an on-call requirement.
