Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team, providing critical care in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency department. The ideal candidate will deliver personalized patient care across all age ranges, from infants to geriatrics, and must thrive in a dynamic environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: Night shifts, 3×12 or 4×12 hours (19:00 – 07:30)
• Schedule: Block schedules with every other weekend required
• Holidays: Required as scheduled

Contract Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension up to 20 weeks for candidates with strong experience

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Assess patient needs, develop nursing care plans, and implement appropriate interventions
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments
• Ensure compliance with standards and policies related to safety and quality of care
• Float within the specialty as required

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Maryland
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and CPI
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred, but considerable skillsets will be considered for candidates with less experience
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Number of Beds: 47
• Nurse-Patient Ratio: 1:4
